MONDAY » Breakfast: the "Crostata di Marmellata" hand

Cortona: visit to the ancient and noble city which
was originally settled by The Etruscans. Descendants of Dardanus from
Troy, now modern day Greeks
Light lunch: we will taste a kind of Italian pasta
and take a walk at Castiglione del Lago, a small Etruscan center, founded
from Chiusi at the beginning of 6th century b.C.
Dinner: Antipasti of Umbria and Tuscany
TUESDAY » Breakfast: the "Torcolo Umbro", hand-made

Siena: following the route of the Via Francigena, the
old pilgrimage route from northern Europe to Rome, like pilgrims of
old we will venture into mysterious alleys, among towers and castles,
in search of the breathtaking views of the city of the Palio
Light lunch: cheese and wine of Tuscany
Montalcino and / or Pienza: the heart of the Senese
countryside is a perfect landscape of enchanting hillsides, oak woods,
olive groves, vineyards...
Dinner: "Umbricelli al pomodoro", hand-made

Assisi: the Basilica of Saint Francis was built in

FRIDAY » Breakfast: the "Torta di Pasqua farcita"

Gubbio: this is one of the most beautiful medieval
towns in Europe because there is a perfect architectonic conservation
allied to Rome since the IIIrd century b.C., Roman origins, was erected
a municipality ... It was in Gubbio that St. Francis tamed the wolf
that was terrorizing the people.

SATURDAY » Florence: the florid "Florentia" was the name given by the Romans to this small settlement located at the foot of the ancient Etruscan Fiesole. Florence is the city of Dante, Brunelleschi and the features richest patrimony of art. In the afternoon you will have free time for shopping or outlets tour.
SUNDAY » Relax: in the swimming-pool or take an excursion by train or by minibus .. at your pleasure
MONDAY » Spoleto: The town of the Two Worlds' Festival. From 1958 its aim has been to create an occasion for Italian, European and American cultures to meet. In the afternoon, take a walk to Montefalco, the town of Sagrantino, one of the most important Italian red wines.
TUESDAY » San Gimignano: once the seat of a small Etruscan village
of the Hellenistic peri od (200-300 BC) it began its life as a town
in the 10th century taking its name from the Holy Bishop of Modena,
Sto Gimignano, who is said to have saved the village from the barbarian
hordes.
Volterra: in the afternoon take a walk in its narrow
streets, looming towers, and majestic palaces and fortifications that
are made of stone... This is the town of alabaster.
WEDNESDAY » Lake Trasimeno: the ancient legend of Etruscans origin narrates that prince Trasimeno, a son of the god Tirreno, king of the Etruscans during an excursion in the lands of the centre of Italy met the nymph Agilla who lived in an island of the lake and Island Maggiore: round trip to the island .. A real paradise.
THURSDAY » Todi: ..."but something considered as a good omen
occurred. An eagle appeared. It had two eaglets under its wings. They
were different in colour and unlike the mother who held in her claws
a small cloth. The eagle let the cloth fall on a hill and the king thought
it as a suitable piace to lay foundations..." The town preserves
its medieval appearance and its ancient handicraft, especially woodworking.
