Arrival and

transfer to

Amalfi Coast

and Calabria

We will pick you up in Rome Airport if possible between 08:00 - 09:30) and transfer to Amalfi Coast for Lunch (ab. 3 hrs). In the afternoon we will drive to Calabria Coast (4 hrs) for Dinner and overnight.

Sicily:

Cefalù (North

Coast) and

Palermo

Transfer to Sicily: in the morning we will reach Sicily with a stop and lunch in Cefalù. Visit if the little town of Cefalù: the epitome of picturesque grandeur. Good descriptions of this captivating seaside town beneath a steep mountain. Cefalù has a beach, winding, narrow, medieval streets overlooking a rocky coast. Then transfer to the Hotel in Palermo Dinner and overnight.

Palermo

and Monreale

 

Visit of the town of Palermo, historical centre. The historical centre of Palermo, one of the largest of Europe (including the Cathedral, the Palatine Chapel, the Royal Palace ....) Quick Lunch in a typical trattoria and in the afternoon visit of Monreale: the Cathedral, one of the most beautiful monuments of the world, and the Benedictine Cloister in Arab-norman style. Dinner and Overnight in Palermo

Corleone

Caltabellotta

Scala d. Turchi
Cappuccino in Corleone: a small town of approximately 12,000 inhabitants in the Province of Palermo and it's known primarily as the birthplace of several Mafia bosses, some fictional, such as The Godfather's Vito Corleone. Quick lunch and visit of Caltabellotta (nice view to the South Coast) and unique atmosphere of Sicily. Then we will reach Agrigento passing through the Scala dei Turchi

Valley

of Temples

and Etna

Volcano

Visit of Agrigento town and Valle dei Templi that is an archaeological site in Agrigento (ancient GreekAkragas). The area was included in the UNESCO Heritage Site list in 1997…Then transfer to the upper part of the Valle del Bove. It is a beautiful holiday resort on the slopes of the Etna Volcano, from where you can see the valley with the sea on the back. Dinner and overnight in the area.

Apulia passing

along the

Ionian See

up to Matera

 
We will drive back to North for about 4 hours with a stop for lunch at the Ionian sea (Basilicata) aand then we continue 1,5 hr to Matera the town of Stones and set of the Movie "The Passion of the Christ " of Mel Gibson. Checking in hotel, relax and then visit the Town of Stones by sunset when the atmosphere become unreal. Dinner and overnight

San Marco in

Lamis and free time to meet

relatives, or as

your preference

 

In about 2,5 hours we will reach San Marco in Lamis (Foggia) and then you can have your free time to meet relatives and share time with them so long you like. Overnight in the area or as your preferences ...We can take also a visit in San Giovanni Rotondo by Padre Pio if agree

Another day in San Marco or

and Umbria

Another day in the family at San Marco or transfer to our villa between Umbria and Tuscany .. as your preference. If you like to stay another day then we will cut an excursion during the next week as your preference

Siena

and the Senese Countryside

(Tuscany)

 Breakfast: the "Crostata di Marmellata" hand made by Rosetta. Siena: you will see one of the world’s most unique piazzas del Campo and visit the precious Duomo. Cheese tasting. The heart of the Senese countryside is perfect landscape of enchanting hillsides. Dinner in our villa with a coutryside menu of Tuscany and Umbria…

Assisi

and Spello

(Umbria)
Breakfast: the "Torcolo Umbro", hand-made by Rosetta. Assisi with its amazing ensemble of masterpieces, such as the Basilica of Saint Francis with Giotto’s and Cimabue’s frescos, represents a unique example of city sanctuary. Lunch in a typical trattoria. Spello, a charming town near Assisi. Dinner in our Villa: "Umbricelli al pomodoro", hand-made pasta.

Florence

(Tuscany)
Florence: visit the Duomo, Piazza della Signoria and stroll across the Ponte Vecchio and open markets in the town center. Lunch in a typical trattoria and before return we will take a glimpse of the beautiful panorama of Florence from Piazzale Michelangelo. Dinner in our villa: will taste the "minestrone" and “arrosto al forno”

Caprese Michelangelo

and La Verna

(Tuscany)

Breakfast: the "Torta di mele", hand-made by Rosetta. Shopping in the open market in Magione with Rosetta. In the morning a mystic moment for your soul at the Sanctuary of La Verna on St. Francis' tracks. Lunch in a typical Tuscan trattoria at Caprese Michelangelo: Michelangelo’s native village. Dinner in our Villa… we will taste Italian Pizza!

and Cortona (Umbria &

Tuscany)

Breakfast: the "torta al cocco e cioccolato", hand-made by Rosetta. Guided visit with Rosetta at an oil mill and extra virgin olive oil tasting at our villa with bruschetta and wine. After lunch Cortona the town of the descendants of Dardanus from Troy, now modern day Greeks… setting of the movie “Under the Tuscan Sun”… Farewell Dinner

Transfer to Rome Airport o Rome Town or to the near Train Station if you like to continue your trip on your own: it takes about 2 and a half hours from our place to Roma FCO Airport.

Price per person for the 2 weeks for your Exclusive tour in EURO:
Inclusive of:

  • 13 nights including breakfast
  • Transfer to and from Sicily
  • Extra miles (Sicily tours etc.)
  • VAT (and local taxes)
  • all meals (one quick meal and one regular meal per day)
  • a wines during meals
  • Excursions every day by car (driven by myself)
  • Internet in our Villa free of charge
  • Not included: extras or personal services during the overnights in different hotels outside of our villa.

For your confirmation:

Cancellations and cancellation fees

  • If cancellation is received more than 90 days prior to arrival: no fee will be applied.

The deposit will be retained if cancellation is received:

  • 90-31 days prior to arrival: 20% of total price
  • 30-8 days prior to arrival: 40 % of total price
  • 7-1 days prior to arrival: 60 % of total price
  • On arrival day or later: 100 % of total price

 

Insurance

  • Clients are recommended to have insurance to cover cancellation
